Diploma in Formation of Faith Educators and Youth Ministers
The Aim of the Course
This course aims at the formation of faith educators and youth ministers at the diocesan, parish, congregational and community level to respond effectively to the emerging challenges of the pluralistic contexts of today. It includes the spiritual, the intellectual and the human formation of the participants in a community environment.
Course is divided into 3 Phases
Articulation of Phase I
This Phase aims at equipping the participants to express and formulate their experience of life on a twofold level:
On the more general human level of philosophical reflection, where the focal points can be broadly spelt out as: God, the Human Person and the World. This course treats of all the basic dimensions of the Real, considered in its integrality and would include a study cum reflection on the following issues: Knowledge, the Real the Human Person, World and Society.
On the more specific level of theological reflection where the course treats of God's self-communication and its implications: God's Word, Sacred Scripture, (Revelation, Trinity, Christology, etc.).
The response to this communication, both on the part of the human person in particular and the community in general (Faith,Theological anthropology in all its implications, Christian life) and finally, the articulation of this experience in the life of the believing community (Ecclesiology, Liturgy, and the sacraments).

The following are objectives of the second phase of the diploma course:
- the formation of a pastoral and catechetical mentality;
- the acquisition of adequate scientific knowledge;
- the acquisition of professional skills in youth ministry and catechetics.

- Digital Photography (theory and practice)
- Digital Videography (theory and practice)
- Use of the Internet
- Use of Power Point Presentation for classes, seminars, prayers and meditation.
